Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Xavi Simons this summer, according to L'Equipe.
The Red Devils are currently in the process of offloading Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood and they could replace them with a right winger.
Simons has been identified as a top target and reports claim that they have already made contact with Les Parisiens regarding a transfer.
However, that appears unlikely to happen with PSG reluctant to accept anything more than a loan deal for the 21-year-old attacker.
Simons was re-signed by PSG from PSV last summer. As part of the deal, PSV agreed a significant sell-on clause until January 2025.
As a result, PSG have no desire to sell him, but he is free to pursue a temporary move elsewhere in the current transfer window.
Simons had a wonderful loan stint at Leipzig with 25 goal contributions last term and he seems to prefer a reunion with the German side.
