Crystal Palace have opened talks to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, according to Caught Offside.
Nelson has been a fringe player for the Gunners over the past few years and he has decided to pursue a new challenge.
It is now reported that Palace have opened talks to secure his services and this could coincide with Michael Olise's exit.
Chelsea are currently in negotiations with the Eagles for the Frenchman while there is interest from several other teams too.
Olise is widely expected to head for the exit door and Palace are said to be eyeing a quality cost-effective replacement.
Nelson has had minimal game time in the Premier League over recent seasons, but he continues to be rated highly.
Arsenal are prepared to sanction his sale this summer for around £20m with West Ham United and Wolves also keen.
Palace will be aiming to leapfrog the competition, having already made contact with the Gunners for the 24-year-old.
