Chelsea have been granted permission to speak with Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise over a summer transfer, according to The Athletic.
The Frenchman is one of the best young wingers in the Premier League and he has been tipped to pursue a bigger challenge next season.
The Blues have now received permission to discuss terms with the 22-year-old, but a deal is far from being complete at the moment.
Olise currently has a release clause worth £60 million in his contract, but that is only valid for clubs playing in the Champions League.
Hence, Chelsea have to discuss separately with Palace, but they are not alone with strong interest from Manchester City and Manchester United.
Olise had an injury-plagued 2023/24 season with the Eagles, but he was still impressive with 10 goals and six assists from 19 appearances.
Palace want his future sorted as soon as possible, and they are unlikely to wait until August to negotiate a potential sale with the Blues.
