Chelsea are reportedly set to compete with Borussia Dortmund for the signing of Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy this summer.
The Blues are keen on landing a new marksman in the current transfer window, but they are reluctant to spend big due to PSR limits.
The club were initially interested in signing Aston Villa's Jhon Duran, but a deal has not materialised due to the striker's wage demands.
They have since tried to sign Samu Omorodion from Atletico for €40m, but the La Liga outfit won't sell him for less than €80m.
As a result, the club have now turned their attention to landing Guirassy, who was fantastic for Stuttgart last term with 30 goals.
The Guinean star has a low release clause of €20 million in his deal and he is prepared to assess all options on the table for him.
Chelsea could prove a lucrative destination for the striker, considering he has the opportunity to move to the English capital.
