Chelsea have confirmed their third signing of the summer transfer window with the arrival of Barcelona striker Marc Guiu.
The Blues have been busy in the early part of the window and they have already signed Tosin Adarabioyo and Omari Kellyman.
The west London giants have now confirmed the purchase of 18-year-old Guiu, who had a £5 million release clause in his contract.
The youngster is expected to feature for the Blues in pre-season. He could be part of the first-team plans if he manages to impress.
Guiu told the club's official website: "My main reason for wanting to sign for Chelsea was the football and sporting project the club is offering me here, and the trust everyone who works at the club is putting in me."
The Blues have changed their transfer policy over the past 18 months and they are currently focused on signing emerging talents.
This is a prime reason why they have pulled out of the race for Napoli's Victor Osimhen, who is eyeing £300,000-a-week in wages.
