Real Betis Want Sánchez Flores

Real Betis Want Sánchez Flores

20 May 2008 - 12:42

Spanish first division side Real Betis are reportedly interested in appointing the former Valencia coach Quique Sánchez Flores as their head coach for next season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Real Betis has a pretty much comfortable season this time around and weren't involved in ny relegation dogfight under their current coach Paco Chaparro. But Betis want to take that extra step and move forward and the word doing the rounds in Seville is that Betis are in the football market for a new coach.

It's reported that the Andalucian side have so much as made Sánchez Flores an offer for taking over Betis for next season and has given him until this weekend for making his final decision.

Sánchez Flores was sacked as the Valencia coach in late, late October and has been without a job since. He has already received an offer from Portuguese giants Benfica and from a club in the Middle-East but he is speculated to be more interested to stay on in Spain and construct his coaching career and the Betis job might just as well persuade him to stick on in sunny Iberia.
