Manchester United could consider the option of swapping Aaron Wan-Bissaka for Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries this summer, according to David Ornstein.
Wan-Bissaka has entered the last year of his contract with the Red Devils and the club have no intention of negotiating a fresh deal with him.
West Ham United recently made an approach for his services, but the right-back made it clear that he does not want to join them this summer.
Wan-Bissaka prefers to join Inter Milan instead. This could open up the prospect of a swap deal with Dumfries moving in the other direction.
Dumfries has been a long-term target for manager Erik ten Hag with the Dutch connection. The 28-year-old is also keen on moving to United.
The Netherlands international would be a solid upgrade on Wan-Bissaka in the final third and he could be signed on the cheap in the coming days.
Inter want around £30m for his services, but United could prise him away for £15m if Wan-Bissaka is included as a makeweight in the deal.
