Bologna are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri during the ongoing transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been a fringe player for the Red Devils and he could head for the exit door with his contract expiring next summer.
United have the option to keep Pellistri for another 12 months, but they are most likely to offload him with no talks planned over a renewal.
Bologna were keen on signing the Uruguayan on loan last summer and they have now returned in the pursuit of the right-sided winger.
The Serie A outfit performed above expectations last season as they finished fifth. They qualified for the Champions League as a result.
The club recently lost the services of Joshua Zirkzee to United and they are keen to fill the void with an attacking option in the near future.
Their good relationship with United could see them sign Pellistri on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the 2023/24 season.
