Brighton & Hove Albion look set to beat Manchester United to the signing of Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
The Turkey international had a fantastic 2023/24 season with Fenerbahce and he went on to star for his country at the European Championship.
Both Brighton & United recently made an enquiry for him, but it is reported that the former have already agreed personal terms over a contract.
Kadioglu has informed the same to Fenerbahce. The Seagulls are set to open talks with Jose Mourinho's side to find a transfer agreement.
United are also admirers of the 24-year-old, but Brighton have the upper hand at the moment. They have guaranteed him regular minutes.
The Red Devils can't provide the same assurance to the versatile star, considering Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are guaranteed starters when fit.
Shaw is currently on the sidelines with a fresh calf problem, but he is expected to make his comeback following the next international break.
Kadioglu is right-footed and has the ability to play in both full-back positions. He also featured as a forward earlier in his career.
