FC Porto winger Francisco Conceição will leave his club this afternoon having flown out to Italy to discuss personal terms with Juventus. The Serie A giants have agreed a 35 million euro fee for the 21-year-old winger, and he will undertake a medical examination on arrival in Italy.
Porto have decided to allow the winger to leave the club after agreeing a loan deal with Arsenal man Fabio Vieira last weekend. Despite not having an arrangement to sign Vieira permanently, the Portuguese top flight team are happy to replace Conceicao with the Gunners' midfielder.
Conceicao arrives in Italy having only officially completing a move from Porto this summer, after departing for Dutch club Ajax in 2022. After just one season in the Eredivisie, he had been farmed back out on loan to Porto, and that arrangement came with a permanent transfer fee as part of the deal that Porto only recently took up. The club stand to make a healthy profit on the 21-year-old starlet.
