Arsenal rejected several loan bids for defender Jakub Kiwior before the transfer deadline last week, according to TMW.
The Gunners were fancied to part ways with the Poland international following the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.
However, that did not happen and they informed the 24-year-old that he would not be leaving before the transfer deadline.
TMW now report that Arsenal were eyeing £17m for the defender's sale, but none of the interested clubs met their valuation.
Bologna and Inter proposed to sign him on loan with an option to buy, but the Gunners were reluctant accept such kind of offers.
Napoli and Fiorentina came with straight loan offers before the transfer window closed. They were met with the same response.
Kiwior has been a bench warmer since the start of the season, but manager Mikel Arteta views him as an important first-team player.
The Gunners boss plans to use him in the Cup competitions.
