Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior could leave the club during the January transfer window.
The Poland international was heavily linked with an exit from the Gunners this summer following the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.
However, he was blocked from leaving in the end. Inter and Bologna were prepared to sign him on an initial loan deal with an option to purchase.
Napoli and Fiorentina also made straight loan proposals, but Arsenal wanted a straight cash deal worth €20m. They eventually chose to keep him.
It is now reported Kiwior could be permitted to depart the club in January depending on the fitness of Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Tomiyasu has had an injury prone career with the Gunners. He has not featured for the club after picking up a knee injury in pre-season training.
He is anticipated to return to action in the coming weeks. If he can stay unscathed for the next few months, Kiwior could be granted his wish to leave for regular first-team football, most likely in Serie A.
