Erik ten Hag confirms huge injury boost for Palace game

19 September 2024 - 19:42

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund are available to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.

  • Chelsea have just signed Brazilian star for £60m
  • Arsenal to confirm second summer signing tomorrow

  • The Red Devils have won their last two games in all competitions. They recently secured a stunning 7-0 win over Barnsley in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Ten Hag will be hoping that his team can continue the momentum at Selhurst Park. Ahead of the encounter, the Dutchman has confirmed that Mount and Hojlund have trained with the squad.

He added that the duo will need to be assessed in the next 24 hours and refused to rule out the prospect of them starting against the Eagles this weekend.

United are presently 10th in the league standings with six points on the board. They are already three points behind the top four and can't afford any more slip-ups.

Ten Hag and his team face a tricky challenge against the Eagles. Palace did the double over them last season with five goals scored. It won't be a straightforward game.
