Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer has aimed a dig at Manchester United's defence when speaking about his late Premier League winner last season.
The Blues played out a classic against the Red Devils in April this year. They were 3-2 behind in the ninth minute of stoppage time, but managed to come on top with a sensational victory.
Palmer equalised for the London giants with a penalty. He then scored a dramatic winner in the 101st minute. His shot deflected off the United defence into the back of the net.
When asked to recall the moment, Palmer said that he could not believe the time and space afforded to him by the Red Devils.
He said in a Premier League interview: "This is my favourite [vs Man Utd]. I couldn't believe how much time and space I had.
"When I got the ball, I took a touch, and another one, and I thought 'where is everyone?'. I thought if I shoot on target hard, there's a chance."
Chelsea have made huge progress over the last year and Palmer has been hugely influential with goal contributions almost every game.
He will be key for the Blues this term as they push for the top four.
