Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has picked up a fresh injury ahead of the Europa League clash against Porto on the road.
The England international has had an injury-plagued career with the Red Devils and his situation does not appear to be improving.
He came on as a first-half substitute against Spurs at the weekend, but he was taken off the field in the second after picking up a head injury.
Sources revealed that he was left out for the Porto trip due to the incident, but Ten Hag has now confirmed a fresh knock for the midfielder.
The news is a huge blow for the Red Devils, considering Bruno Fernandes has been struggling to create quality chances in the current season.
Mount is one of the best creators in the Premier League on his day and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit for the Aston Villa game.
United are currently 13th in the league table with just seven points.
