Manchester United have been handed a big boost in signing Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios during the January transfer window.
Rios was linked with multiple Premier League clubs during the summer, but Palmeiras were reluctant to lose him midway through their season.
However, the 24-year-old could be allowed to leave at the turn of the year and reports claim that he could be available for just €20 million.
Caught Offside claim that United considered Rios as a potential addition alongside Manuel Ugarte and could make a fresh move for him.
The Red Devils are preparing to offload Casemiro while Christian Eriksen's future is uncertain with his contract expiring next summer.
Rios could be seen as a quality young replacement in the squad without a huge outlay. The Colombian could be tempted to join the club.
Chelsea were also linked with him in the past, but they are unlikely to make an approach unless they part ways with a high-profile star.
