Manchester United are considering the possibility of replacing manager Erik ten Hag with Vincenzo Montella in the near future.
Ten Hag has been under immense pressure from the start of the campaign following the club's poor start in the Premier League.
United are currently 14th in the standings with eight points on the board and they are already six points behind the top-four places.
Saturday's home game against Brentford is a must-win for the Dutchman and any other result could add more scrutiny over a spot.
Ajansspor today claim that United have added Montella to their managerial shortlist. The Italian is presently the head coach of the Turkish national side.
He recently guided them to the last eight of Euro 2024 and Turkey have also impressed in the Nations League with three wins so far.
The progress made has caught the eye of the Red Devils. The 50-year-old could be Ten Hag's successor if the results don't improve soon.
