Arsenal star poised for pay rise with new contract

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice will receive a pay rise to sign a new long-term contract, according to Football Transfers.

The England international has been a key player for the Gunners, and he has already made 165 appearances since he arrived from West Ham United in the summer of 2023.

Rice continues to remain a key figure under manager Mikel Arteta, and the midfielder is now expected to be handed a pay rise to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract.

The Hammers graduate is presently on a weekly package of around £240,000, and his wages could reportedly increase to £280,000 per week with a renewal.

Arsenal are about to confirm a new long-term deal for manager Mikel Arteta until June 2032. It may not be long before Rice also commits his future to the Gunners.

Rice recently withdrew from international duty due to managing neutral hamstring pain. He should be fit for the Premier League clash against Leeds United next month.
