Arsenal have been handed a major boost in signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak at the end of the campaign, as per Teamtalk.
The Sweden ace is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and he is expected to consider a new challenge from the Magpies soon.
Isak has the dream of playing in the Champions League on an annual basis and the 25-year-old does not believe the Magpies can achieve the same.
As a result, he could push for a new challenge at the end of the campaign. He has turned down the chance to sign an improved long-term deal.
Arsenal have already shortlisted a number of stand-out strikers for next summer and Isak is the player that they want the most at the moment.
They were interested in signing him during his time at Real Sociedad and could make a serious approach for his services next summer.
Isak is still expected to cost more than £100m with his contract not expiring until June 2028. The Magpies are keen to make a good profit.
