Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is open to signing a new one-year contract with the Merseyside giants.
The Egyptian has been a revelation for the Reds under manager Arne Slot and he has 13 goals and 11 assists in just 20 appearances this season.
Salah has yet to commit to a new long-term deal and there is plenty of speculation that he could leave when his contract expires next summer.
However, that may not be the case. The Reds are in constant negotiations with his agents and there is optimism that he will eventually pen a new deal.
Salah is unlikely to commit to a new long-term contract, but he could agree to extend his stay for another year, giving the Reds time to land a successor.
The 32-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down this campaign and he could be key to the Reds winning the Premier League once more.
Liverpool are nine points clear at the top of the table and look in pole position to lift the title, barring a run of poor results.
