Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided a fresh injury update on midfielder Mason Mount following the 2-1 Premier League win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The Red Devils were second best against the Cityzens at the Etihad Stadium, but made a terrific comeback in the final minutes of the game.
Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot to make it 1-1 in the 88th minute and just moments later, Amad Diallo bagged the crucial winner.
Mount was picked to start the Manchester derby, but he was substituted in just the 14th minute after picking up an apparent muscular injury.
Speaking after the game, Amorim said that Mount is a very good player who fits into the playing style and the Red Devils need his services.
He said: "He [Mount] fits our style. He's a very good player inside and also outside the pitch.
"The type of character we want in this team and the club want.
"He made the movement and stretched his leg, he felt something. But we need him."
United made a huge statement with a late win at the Etihad Stadium and they are now just six points behind the Champions League places.
