Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has heaped praise on Amad Diallo following his heroic performance against Manchester City in the Premier League.
The Red Devils went into the Manchester derby as underdogs and they were non-existent in an attacking sense for more than 75 minutes.
However, they stepped up their performance in the final stages and Diallo had a huge role to play in the stunning turnaround at the Etihad.
Diallo won the penalty for Bruno Fernandes' 88th minute equaliser and just moments later, the Ivorian bagged the winner for the Red Devils.
Speaking after the game, Amorim said that Erik ten Hag and Ruud van Nistelrooy did a great job with Diallo and the club are continuing the same.
He said: "Erik [Ten Hag] and Ruud [Van Nistelrooy] did a great job with him, we continue that. Really important."
United remain 13th in the league standings despite the victory, but they have moved within six points of Nottingham Forest in fourth.
