Alex McLeish has warned his Scotland heroes not to get too carried away after defeating France 1-0 in the most memorable of encounters.
James McFadden's long-range goal earned Scotland a landmark 1-0 victory over France at the Parc de Princes on Wednesday night to put them firmly on course for the Euro 2008 finals. It completed a stunning 6 points earned by Scotland over the French.
McLeish said: "We knew the group would be hard but I've always said we could qualify. We were within touching distance of Italy and France.
"With a match like this one, it is more and more possible of course. I've always believed in us.
"Now I don't think France are out of the way and, as far as we are concerned, the challenge is still there for Scotland.
"We are facing three important and difficult games. There is still a lot of work to achieve. We are not qualified yet."
Scotland top the group and with three games left to go have a great chance of qualifying.
