The Red Devils are expected to bolster their midfield department in the summer with Casemiro poised to head for the exit door.

Casemiro has been out-of-favour under Ruben Amorim. He has been a regular unused substitute since the Portuguese's arrival as manager.

The Brazilian is most certain to leave in the summer and reports claim that United could look to replace him with compatriot Ederson.

Ederson was on United's radar at the start of the season, but they opted to land Manuel Ugarte instead as Atalanta refused to negotiate.

However, this has not ended speculation regarding his future and United are prepared to make a renewed approach when the campaign ends.

Atalanta value him in the region of £50m, but the price could increase over the summer if there is competition from other European sides.
