Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Lille striker Jonathan David ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils currently have Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee as the main strikers, but neither have been consistent.
The club could enter the market for a marquee signing in the summer and David is one of those being monitored by them.
David has been linked with a Premier League move for some period of time and could be available on a free transfer this summer.
His current deal with Lille expires at the end of June and he has snubbed the opportunity to prolong his stay at the Ligue 1 side.
Hence, the door is open for a Bosman transfer. United could be tempted to grab the opportunity ahead of other European rivals.
His arrival could coincide with a striker exit. Zirkzee could be on the move. He has been linked with a possible return to Serie A.
David has bagged 20 goals and nine assists from 35 appearances for Lille in all competitions this campaign.
