Manchester United are prepared to pay €60 million to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Red Devils were interested in signing the Brazil international last summer, but Atalanta were reluctant to sell him before the deadline.
United ended up recruiting Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain instead, but they continue to be interested in bringing Ederson to Old Trafford.
Calciomercato claim that United have already made contact with Atalanta and have informed them that they are ready to pay around €60m.
Juventus are also firm admirers of the 25-year-old, but Atalanta could prefer to sell their prized asset abroad rather than a direct league rival.
United have already done business with the Serie A outfit. They have signed the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo from them.
Meanwhile, Atalanta are looking to convince Ederson to stay with a new long-term deal, but he is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League.
Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the past.
