Chelsea could provide competition to Arsenal and Manchester United in the pursuit of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko this summer.
The Slovenian ace was a top target for the Gunners last summer, but he turned down their advances to extend his contract with Leipzig.
However, he is expected to leave the German club later this year. Arsenal are prepared to make an approach for the 21-year-old marksman.
United are likewise interested in his services and reports claim that Chelsea could also throw their name into the hat for the young striker.
The Blues have misfired upfront in the ongoing campaign. There is a realisation that Nicolas Jackson is not good enough to start upfront.
Sesko, who has netted 17 goals this campaign, would be a fine addition, but he won't come on the cheap due to a release clause worth €70m.
Chelsea may also need to qualify for the Champions League to convince the striker. Arsenal are in the best position to sign him as of now.
