Arsenal are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos during the next transfer window, according to Caught Offside.

The Gunners are planning for a busy summer and reports have claimed that they could make as many as seven high-profile signings.

Caught Offside today report that Arsenal have a surprise interest in Santos and they have been monitoring his performances at Strasbourg.

The 20-year-old has registered 10 goals and provided five assists for the French outfit on loan, and could be on the move this summer.

Santos was signed by Chelsea from Vasco da Gama for £15m. The Blues could open the door for a summer sale if they receive £32m.

Arsenal have the financial capacity to afford the figure, but the big question is whether the Blues will negotiate with their London rivals.

The Gunners are now title contenders in the Premier League. The Blues could be reluctant to sanction Santos' sale to Mikel Arteta's side.
