Chelsea are unlikely to revive their interest in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The west London giants have had a good Premier League campaign and they are presently fifth in the standings with another four games left.
The Blues could qualify for the Champions League next season. Regardless, the club are likely to sign a new centre-forward in the near future.
Osimhen was on the Blues' radar at the start of the campaign, but he was reluctant to accept a significant paycut to join Enzo Maresca's side.
Chelsea have continued to be linked with the marksman, but reports claim that the club are unlikely to revisit their interest at the end of the season.
Osimhen is reportedly eyeing around £200,000 per week before tax to join another club. The Blues have no plans of meeting such huge demands.
Hence, they are poised to pursue an alternative striker target.
