Manchester United can beat Arsenal to the signing of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres on one condition, as per Christopher Michel.
The Red Devils are planning for a busy summer transfer window and a marquee marksman could be one of the top priorities for them.
They have been linked with the likes of Liam Delap and Jean-Philippe Mateta but reports claim that the club have ambitious plans for the role.
Michel cites that United could swoop for the services of Gyokeres, who developed a strong relationship with manager Ruben Amorim at Sporting.
However, that could largely depend on the club qualifying for the Champions League by winning the Europa League title in the current campaign.
Otherwise, Gyokeres is unlikely to consider United amid strong interest from the Gunners, who have already made contact with his representatives over a transfer.
Gyokeres has been in stupendous form this term with 52 goals in all competitions alongside 11 assists. He has a pact to leave Sporting for around £60m.
