Manchester United could be prepared to pay the release clause of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Red Devils recently failed to land Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. They were prepared to trigger his £30 million release clause, but he preferred to join Chelsea instead to play Champions League football.
The club are now exploring an alternative in the transfer market and reports claim that they could bring Kean back to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old signed for Fiorentina from Juventus last summer. He had a good debut campaign, registering 25 goals from 44 matches.
His progress has caught the eye of many clubs and United are one of them.
The Italian has a release clause worth £44 million in his contract, and the Red Devils are willing to pay the fee over multiple instalments.
Kean previously had a poor spell with Everton in the Premier League and he will be keen to make amends if he returns with the Red Devils.
