Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo is aiming to secure a big-money contract with his move to Manchester United, according to The Times.
The Cameroon international had a brilliant 2024/25 season with the Bees, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in the Premier League.
He has attracted interest from several English clubs as a result, but the 25-year-old has reportedly decided to join United this summer.
United are also ready to open talks with the Bees. A transfer could cost around £60 million. The fee could be paid in several instalments.
Meanwhile, Mbeumo is eyeing a significant payrise with the switch.
He currently earns around £50,000 per week and aims to receive £250,000 weekly with a move to Old Trafford in the current window.
United can make a huge statement by landing Mbeumo ahead of Champions League sides such as Arsenal and Newcastle.
The Red Devils are not playing in Europe next season, but they are still capable of attracting some of the best players in the world.
