Bayer Leverkusen manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen on a reunion with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho this summer.
The England international spent the previous campaign on loan at Chelsea. The Blues had an obligation to buy for £25 million, but they paid a penalty fee of £5 million to nullify the agreement.
Sancho is now eyeing a new challenge away from Old Trafford and Bild claim that Leverkusen could make an approach for his services.
The German giants are poised to part ways with Florian Wirtz amid interest from Liverpool. They could receive as much as £126m from his sale.
The club are ready to reinvest some of the amount and could make an approach for Sancho, who could be available for just £20m.
United are determined to get him off their books, but Sancho could be reluctant to accept a pay cut on his £250,000 per week wages.
Leverkusen are unlikely to pay over the odds in terms of the salary. The onus is on Sancho accepting a salary reduction to join them.
