Tottenham Hotspur could go head-to-head with Manchester United to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo this summer, according to The Mirror.
Mbeumo recently made the decision to join the Red Devils. Talks are now ongoing between United and the Bees over the transfer package.
So far, the Red Devils have proposed to pay around £60 million including add-ons, but the Bees are looking for at least £70m to sanction his sale.
Amidst this, it is reported that manager Thomas Frank would like to reunite with Mbeumo. He is reportedly close to leaving the Bees for Spurs.
Spurs have a huge transfer budget for the summer after their Europa League success. They have qualified for next season's Champions League.
Mbeumo has his sights on joining United, but his stance could change if Frank were to move to Spurs. He could be tempted by a reunion.
The 25-year-old winger had a fabulous 2024/25 Premier League campaign with the Bees, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists.
