Chelsea have been linked with a surprise summer transfer window move for Montenegro midfielder Vasilije Adzic in a deal that could be worth as much as 25 million euros. Adzic, who made his debut last season for Juventus, has played in six Serie A games so far and is a highly promising talent.
The Turin giants signed Adzic in July 2024 for a fee of around 7 million euros, with manager Thiago Motta highlighting the 6 foot 1 starlet as a hot prospect for the future. Adzic did not immediately force his way into Juventus' first-team, and spent the majority of the season last campaign playing for Juventus' Next Gen side. However, just this year Adzic made his debut for Montenegro's international team, scoring a goal on his debut.
Chelsea have been scouring Europe for the best young up and coming talents, and Adzic is a name that has been on the radar of the Blues' scouting network. The Stamford Bridge outfit have already been linked with Jamie Gittens in recent weeks from Borussia Dortmund, and Adzic is another name to add to the club's wanted list.
Chelsea have been signing many of the world's top young players and signing them to long-term contracts, sometimes as many as 7 or 8 year deals.
It is understood that Chelsea may need to pay around 25 million euros or more to procure this youngster's coveted signature.
