Manchester United are interested in signing Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku, according to French outlet L'Equipe.
The Red Devils have already bolstered their attack with Matheus Cunha and they are now negotiating the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
L'Equipe claim that the club are now keen on landing Nkunku and initial talks have been held with the representative of the France international.
No contact has been made with the Blues yet. It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils follow up with a formal bid for the versatile star.
Nkunku has already made his mind up to leave the Blues after falling out-of-favour under manager Enzo Maresca during the last campaign.
The attacker managed just over 900 minutes in the Premier League for the club despite Nicolas Jackson struggling to find the back of the net.
Chelsea have signed a new striker in Liam Delap this summer and they are expected to pursue another marquee marksman in the coming weeks.
