Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has arrived in London to complete his transfer to Arsenal, according to Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
The Spain international has been a long-term target for the Gunners and they have eventually secured an agreement to bring him to the club.
A deal worth €65 million has been finalised between the teams and Zubimendi has travelled to London to complete the necessary formalities.
The 26-year-old could undergo the first part of his medical tomorrow, and a transfer could be officially announced by the end of the current week.
Arsenal are expected to make a series of announcements.
Alongside Zubimendi, the Gunners are also expected to complete the transfer of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this month.
The club have also reached an agreement with Brentford to purchase midfielder Christian Norgaard. He is set to undergo his medical.
Aside from the trio, Arsenal are in advanced negotiations with Valencia to complete the transfer of Spanish centre-back Cristhian Mosquera.
