The package agreed reportedly contains a £25 million initial fee, with an additional £4 million paid in performance based add-ons.

  • Chelsea in advanced talks to land 22yo playmaker

  • Everton have agreed a deal worth an estimated £29 million for out of favour Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 26-year-old arrived in West London from Leicester City last summer for a fee of £30 million, and has found playing time hard to come by since his arrival, having played just 258 competitive minutes for the Blues last season. He is likely to find minutes even more difficult to come by with the arrival of Dario Essugo from Sporting Lisbon and the return of Andrey Santos from loan at sister club Strasbourg.

Everton are in desperate need of arrivals in the coming days and they currently possess the smallest squad in the Premier League, with just 21 first team players. Everton boss David Moyes has already stated that the club are low on numbers and that he needed "six more players".

Whilst they have completed the signings of back-up Goalkeeper Mark Travers from Bournemouth and Left Back Adam Aznou on loan from Bayern Munich, these are not likely to be sufficient in order for Everton to remain competitive for the forthcoming campaign and improve upon their 13th place finish last time out.

Dewsbury-Hall is expected to be travelling to Merseyside for a medical in order to finalise the deal in the coming days.
