Arsenal are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman amid Inter Milan's failure to sign him.
The Nigeria international had a phenomenal 2024/25 season with the Serie A outfit, scoring 20 goals and providing seven assists in all competitions.
Inter have been in negotiations with Atalanta for his services, but their £40 million proposal has fallen short of the £45m asking price.
The Nerazzurri have no plans of improving their bid and this could pave the way for another club to secure a deal for the 27-year-old.
The Sun claim that Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the situation and could make an approach if Inter are unable to strike an agreement.
Arsenal could be willing to pay closer to the price tag. They have identified Eberechi Eze as the top target and Lookman could be a backup.
If Crystal Palace are reluctant to accept less than £68m for Eze, the Gunners could quickly turn their attention to landing Eze instead.
