Jakub Kiwior is wanted by Portuguese club Porto and Italian duo AC Milan and Inter Milan as all three sides prepare for the upcoming season. It is understood that Arsenal have rejected an initial £25.7 million bid for Kiwior from Porto, and the Gunners will demand £35 million for the Polish international.
Both AC Milan and Inter Milan have yet to table an official offer, but will need to match the £35 million that director of football values Kiwior. Former Spezia defender Kiwior moved to Arsenal in 2023 and has been an important backup at the Emirates Stadium, but the club have now apparently opened talks to let the defender leave.
There is a feeling within the Arsenal fanbase that the Gunners have been excellent on the transfer market this summer bringing in players, but the lack of sales is somewhat concerning and some departures could come this week. Names expected to leave include Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson and Kiwior, but nothing concrete as of yet.
Arsenal have signed Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia and he is expected to take the defensive place to be freed up from a sale of the Poland international.
