Manchester United continue to admire Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba and could return for him next year, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils have had an impressive transfer window with over 200 million pounds spent to sign Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
There could be more activity in the coming weeks, but the club won't be signing Baleba after being put off by Brighton's valuation of more than 115 million pounds for him.
United don't have the financial capacity to afford him this summer, but they are ready to try again for his services at the end of the ongoing campaign.
Baleba is likewise eager to join the Red Devils and he is prepared to play the waiting game rather than trying to force through an exit from Brighton.
Brighton have a good relationship with the player's entourage and they could be willing to provide a fee discount during the summer of 2026.
