Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Brentford defender Nathan Collins this summer, according to The Daily Mail.
The Red Devils have spent more than 200 million pounds on bolstering their attack and they are likely to continue their spending spree.
A defensive midfielder is one of the top priorities for the Mancunian giants, but they could also recruit a central defender as well.
It is now reported that United have joined the pursuit of Collins, who has been on the radar of Liverpool over the past couple of weeks.
Tottenham are likewise admirers of the 24-year-old centre-back, but the Bees have no plans to part ways with their new club captain.
Collins was promoted as the new skipper after the transfer of Christian Norgaard to Arsenal earlier in the summer transfer window.
The Bees have also lost the services of Bryan Mbeumo and Mark Flekken and are unlikely to contemplate the prospect of losing Collins.
