Arsenal have agreed a new deal with Leandro Trossard, according to The Athletic.
The Belgium international has been a key player for the Gunners over the last few years, but there has been speculation that he could move on.
Aston Villa and Brentford were recently linked him, but he has now agreed on an improved salary package to stay with the London heavyweights.
Trossard's contract length stays the same (June 2027), but he has been rewarded with a salary increase to represent his importance in the squad.
The move may probably end the Gunners' pursuit of a left winger, given they are also unlikely to part ways with Gabriel Martinelli in the near future.
Trossard, Martinelli and summer signing Noni Madueke are expected to compete for the left wing position this season while Bukayo Saka starts on the right.
The Gunners could also utilise the services of Madueke, Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman on the right wing if Saka needs to be rested or is unavailable to play.
