Fulham are to break their transfer record to sign Shakhtar Donetsk player Kevin in a deal worth around £34.7 million. The player, formerly of Palmeiras, has caught the eye with the Ukrainian club and has been the Cottagers' top target for the summer transfer window.
Kevin has already appeared for Brazil's under-20 side a handful of times, and is extremely highly rated in his homeland.
The move reflects Fulham’s urgency to strengthen their attacking options and breathe fresh energy into their flanks.
Kevin emerged as Shakhtar’s Player of the Season for 2024–25, tallying nine league goals and earning accolades for his explosive performances.
Tactically, Kevin brings flexibility and flair: he can operate across both wide areas or drift into half‑spaces. His addition would allow Fulham to deploy more fluid formations, allowing Alex Iwobi to possibly play centrally, and is a big step for Fulham who already paid a club record transfer fee for Emile Smith-Rowe last summer. Fulham’s pursuit of Kevin is driven by his tactical versatility, dribbling dynamism, and proven impact at a young age.
