Kapo to leave Birmingham

Kapo to leave Birmingham

29 May 2008 - 08:54

Olivier Kapo is set to leave Birmingham, according to the club's supremo David Gold. Arsenal and Aston Villa are among some of the clubs interested in landing the French midfielder.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Valued by his club at around £6 million, Kapo is one of the players expected to leave the Blues as they begin preparations for life in the Championship.

David Gold wrote: "I am not naive in thinking players won't leave; there has already been interest in Olivier Kapo. I wouldn't blame him for wanting to play in the Premiership, but if we lose him or any other key players we will replace them with like-for-like."
