West Ham United are reportedly lining up an approach for Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee when the transfer window reopens in January.
Zirkzee has fallen down the pecking order at the Red Devils this campaign and he has been limited to appearances off the substitutes' bench.
With the World Cup coming up next year, the Dutchman is desperate for playing time in order to get selected by the national team.
As a result, he is prepared to pursue a new challenge in January and reports claim that the Hammers are lining up a loan move for him.
Zirkzee is likely to push for the temporary switch, but the decision could depend on the club's situation when the transfer window reopens.
Benjamin Sesko is the regular striker for United this campaign while Matheus Cunha has also played as the main marksman.
If the duo were to pick up form and stay fit, the Red Devils could open the door for Zirkzee's exit. They may prefer a permanent deal.
