Liverpool manager Arne Slot has broken his silence on Mohamed Salah's form following the 2-1 Premier League defeat to Manchester United at Anfield.
The Merseyside giants started the league campaign in exceptional fashion with five wins on the bounce, but they have since suffered three losses on the bounce.
As a result, they have dropped four points behind the Gunners for the top spot in the table and there are doubts where the Reds can sustain the challenge and defend their title.
Amidst this, there has been plenty of criticism regarding Salah's form in the league. When pressed on the Egyptian's struggles, Slot said that the criticism is normal after a loss.
He said: "I think after games like this it is normal people are focused on individual players. We talked about the signings and now we will focus on him."
Liverpool have not lost their last four games in all competitions. They will be aiming to end the streak when they visit Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday.
