West Ham are readying a £40 million January bid for Tottenham forward Dominic Solanke in January, after reports suggested that the club's coaching staff are unhappy with the England international's performances. So far this season, Solanke has struggled for regular first-team football.
It is reported today that Thomas Frank is unhappy with Solanke and is ready to sell the striker, who has now slipped to third in the pecking order in North London.
Richarlison had started the season leading the line for Spurs, but in recent games Randal Kolo Muani has now been preferred to the Brazilian. That leaves Solanke out in the cold and ready for a transfer elsewhere.
West Ham are sitting in the relegation zone and are reportedly looking for a striker to bolster their attack for the second half of the league season, and are aware that Solanke could be available for a cut price £40 million fee.
It is understood that Thomas Frank wants to sign Randal Kolo Muani on a permanent transfer next summer in a deal worth 55 million euros.
