Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has heaped praise on midfielder Moises Caicedo following the 1-0 Premier League win over Tottenham Hotspur on the road.
The Blues suffered a disappointing loss to Sunderland at Stamford Bridge last weekend, but they redeemed themselves with a convincing win over Spurs away from home.
Joao Pedro scored the only goal of the game after a fine Caicedo assist. Speaking after the win, Maresca was full of praise for the former Brighton & Hove Albion man.
He said: "Moi [Moises Caicedo] is showing how good he is. He's top. The best thing for him, he's humble, such a good guy and is there to help everyone. Him and Rodri are the best defensive midfielders in the world."
The Blues had numerous clear-cut chances to score against Spurs, but could not find the cutting edge. Despite this, they were on the winning side in a relatively comfortable fashion.
Chelsea will be in Champions League action against Qarabag in midweek before hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League next weekend.
