Bayern Munich have seemingly eyed up Hans Jorg Butt as the long-term successor to Oliver Kahn who made his last appearance in a Bayern shirt in a friendly this week.
"We're talking to him," Hoeness told the club's official website.
"I could well imagine it'll all be sorted out in the next few days."
Butt has spent the last season at Benfica where he has rarely appeared at all. Now the goalie is ready to make a move back to the Bundesliga.
